Why should I participate?
The Live It Up Awards is more than a competition — it’s a platform to showcase your lifestyle:
Express creativity: Share your unique lifestyle choices and daily inspirations.
International stage: Your story may be featured in major North American cities and international lifestyle media.
Community connection: Exchange and resonate with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Recognition & rewards: Each category offers a Distinction Award (CAD$1,000) and a Recognition Award (CAD$500), plus trophies. There are also lots of opportunities to win gift cards.
How can I submit my entry?
Go to our website → click Submit → choose your award category → upload 3–5 photos (or a ≤60 second video) → complete your lifestyle description.
What kind of works can be submitted?
Focus on authentic, real-life moments, such as:
Everyday living spaces
Unique lifestyle experiments or rhythm choices
Cross-cultural or cross-generational experiences
Graceful aging and its influence
We value authenticity and meaning, not staged content or technical perfection.
Who can participate?
Open to the public across North America (focus cities include Vancouver, Los Angeles, Seattle, Toronto, etc.). Individuals, families, and communities may all submit entries for free. Minors require guardian consent.
Can I submit to multiple award categories?
Yes, but each category is limited to one entry.
What are the award categories?
The Sanctuary Award
Not about size, but soul. Show how your space reflects identity, atmosphere, and spirit.
The Vanguard Award
Celebrating bold, creative, and experimental lifestyle practices.
The Mosaic Award
Where cultures meet. Honoring families and friendships that weave diverse traditions into harmony.
The ICON Award
Style, spirit, and legacy. Recognizing lives of grace, inspiration, and influence.
What prizes do winners receive?
Each award category includes:
Distinction Award: CAD$1,000 + trophy (presented at the Awards Night)
Recognition Award: CAD$500 + trophy (presented at the Awards Night)
All winners will also be featured by The Lifestyle Foundation in media coverage and promotion.
Will winners attend the Awards Night?
Not all participants will be invited. Finalists will be invited to attend and accept their award in person. Winners will be specially invited to the Awards Gala on March 10, 2026 at the Vancouver Art Gallery.
Are there participation rewards?
Yes! Every participant has a chance to win:
Pioneer’s Bonus:
• First 100 valid entries,
• 50 winners, each receiving a $20 CAD gift card
Milestone Rewards:
•Entries 101–200
•50 winners, each receiving a $10 CAD gift card
Spotlight Draw:
•Open to all participants who share the official poster on social media
•20 winners, each receiving a $50 CAD gift card
•Higher social engagement (likes, shares, comments) will increase the chance of winning
How will gift cards and cash awards be distributed?
Gift cards ($20 / $10): Randomly drawn and distributed once 100 and 200 valid submissions are reached.
Social media draw ($50): Randomly selected from who share the official poster on social media. Winners announced after the deadline.
Cash awards (Grand Prize / People’s Choice): Announced and presented live at the Awards Gala.
How does the public voting work?
All shortlisted entries will be displayed on our website, open for public voting. We encourage everyone to participate and vote for their favorits.
How do you ensure fairness in voting?
Voting results will be monitored through technical checks and manual review. Any fraudulent activity or suspicious voting may result in disqualification.
Do I need professional photos/videos?
No. Clear and authentic daily photos/videos are sufficient. We care about your life story, not technical polish.
Can I update my submission after sending?
No. To ensure fairness in voting, submissions cannot be modified once submitted.
Will my name be public?
Your nickname and entry will be displayed on the voting page by default.
What if my submission fails to upload?
Check your internet connection and file size (photos ≤20MB each, videos ≤200MB). If it still fails, contact us via the website form or email.
Who owns the copyright of the submitted works?
You retain full copyright. By submitting, you grant the organizers permission to reasonably use your work for promotion and display, with attribution.
What languages are accepted?
English is preferred. Non-English content may be translated using machine translation if shortlisted.
Which poster should I share and what are the requirements for the Spotlight Draw?
• Enter by sharing on social media (full rules coming soon)
